The 90 Day Fiancé franchise has its fair share of male villains among its cast and fans are divided as to who the biggest one of all may be.

90 Day Fiancé has no shortage of male villains and fans are debating who the ultimate male villain of the franchise is. One of the most notorious franchise villains is Geoffrey Paschel, who was convicted for domestic abuse and kidnapping after his time on 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days. Another infamous villain is Ed “Big Ed” Brown who is currently appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? after his chaotic relationship with Liz Woods on 90 Day: The Single Life. Paul Staehle is also high up on the list, after it was revealed on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way that Paul also had a criminal past and was even considered a terrorist in Brazil.

Reddit user jeannetru began a thread on the topic, and took the stance that 90 Day Fiancé season 6 alum Jay Smith was the biggest male villain of the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. They wrote, “Jay ranks REALLY high on my list. Bathroom shenanigans are disturbing.” Jay appeared on the series with his ex Ashley Martson and the two had a tumultuous relationship. Jay cheated on Ashley in a bathroom at a barber shop and the couple later split. Jay was also notably younger than Ashley, as he was only 19 years old at the time of the incident, whereas Ashley was 31.

90 Day Fiancé Fans Think The Franchise Has Worse Male Villains

90 Day Fiance's Paul Staehle

Fans in the comments did not agree with the notion that Jay was the worst male villain of the franchise and pointed out that there were many 90 Day Fiancé male cast members who have done far worse than Jay. While they did not agree with what Jay did to Ashley, many fans pointed out that Jay was very young at the time and that the age gap played a large part in their relationship. Fans also offered alternatives for the worst male villain, and many of them named Paul. Reddit user jeannetru wrote, “I forgot about Paul. Yikes. Isn’t he with a 17-year-old, while his children are in foster care?”

Other fans offered up Big Ed’s name and argued that his behavior was far worse than anything Jay had done. Commenters spoke about Big Ed’s verbal and emotional abuse, particularly towards his current fiancé Liz. Ed has made comments about Liz’s weight and appearance, which viewers found to be completely unacceptable. Ed was also criticized during his time on Before The 90 Days, when he made comments to his ex-girlfriend Rose Vega about her breath and not shaving her legs. Many fans agreed that Jay did not do anything to this degree during his relationship with Ashley.

Finally, fans in the comments also argued that Geoffrey was among the worst 90 Day Fiancé male villains. They argued that cast members who had gone to jail were worse than the many cast members who had cheated on their spouses, including Jay. Geoffrey was sentenced to 18 years in prison following a conviction for domestic violence and kidnapping of his ex-girlfriend which fans found to be incredibly disturbing.

While fans agree that Jay is not the worst male villain of the franchise, it appears to be a three-way tie for Paul, Big Ed and Geoffrey. However, there are many other 90 Day Fiancé cast members who have been labeled villains for their behavior on and off the show. There’s no shortage of criticism for franchise stars, but some are considered to be on another level, and most viewers want nothing to do with them and hope to never see them on 90 Day Fiancé again.
