The four remaining couples will compete for the Mirrorball Trophy during the DWTS season 31 finale on Disney+, and they will each perform two dances.
The songs and dance styles for the Dancing With The Stars season 31 finale have been announced. DWTS season 31 has been highly competitive, and now only four couples remain. The finalists are social media influencer Charli D’Amelio and Mark Ballas, TV personality Wayne Brady and Witney Carson, The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey and Val Chmerkovskiy, and drag queen Shangela and Gleb Savchenko. Actors Trevor Donovan, paired with Emma Slater, and Daniel Durant, paired with Britt Stewart, were eliminated during the DWTS semifinals.
Desiree Murphy from Page Six revealed the songs and dance styles for the DWTS season 31 finale. Each couple will perform two routines: one style they’ve done earlier in the season, known as the redemption round, and a final Freestyle, which serves as the couple’s last chance to prove that they deserve to win the Mirrorball Trophy. The four judges will also be on hand to assist the couples during the redemption round. Wayne and Witney will dance the Quickstep with help from Len Goodman, who recently announced his DWTS retirement, to “(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher And Higher” by Jackie Wilson. Shangela and Gleb will also redeem their Quickstep, which they did on Elvis Night, with help from Bruno Tonioli, to “Queen Bee” by Rochelle Diamante. Charli and Mark are paired with Carrie Ann Inaba and will dance a Jive to “Grown” by Little Mix. Gabby and Val will dance the Cha-Cha, with help from Derek Hough, to “I Like It (Like That)” by Pete Rodriguez.
DWTS Season 31 Finale Features Redemption Dance & Freestyles
Given how stiff the competition has been during DWTS season 31, the Freestyle could determine who wins the Mirrorball Trophy. Wayne and Witney will perform to a medley of “Get Up” by Ciara featuring Chamillionaire and “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars. Shangela and Gleb will also dance to a medley of songs: “Survivor” by Destiny’s Child and “Call Me Mother” by RuPaul. Charli and Mark will perform their Freestyle to “Us Again” by Pinar Toprak. Gabby and Val will dance to “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago.
The DWTS season 31 finale is competitive, as each couple remaining has been a fan-favorite from the beginning. Charli and Mark have provided the most memorable routines with mind-blowing choreography, while Gabby and Val have been on their heels with exceptional dancing every week. Shangela and Gleb have been DWTS‘ most entertaining couple, and she has been the most likable personality in the cast. Wayne and Witney have been delivering weekly, which means viewers are in for a jaw-dropping DWTS finale.
DWTS season 31 has been a strong season for Disney+, with passionate dancing from the stars and inspiring stories every week. Despite being eliminated in the semifinals, Daniel and Britt captivated audiences on DWTS, showing how the deaf community can thrive. Selma Blair and Sasha Farber showed that anything is possible as she danced while battling multiple sclerosis. DWTS season 31 will be remembered as one of the best and most entertaining seasons the show has ever seen.
