Emmerdale's Amy and Moira make Kyle pact in Al's death fallout

Moira and Amy have made a shocking pact in the wake of Al Chapman’s death in Emmerdale.

The village continues to be in shock following the shooting of Al last week, especially after Cain was locked up and charged with his murder.

Both Amy and Moira know that it was actually Kyle who shot Al in the barn last week, as he was trying to protect Cain during the two men’s brawl.

Although Cain has sworn wife Moira to secrecy, Moira shocked her husband earlier this week by walking out of their prison meeting without promising to keep his secret.

Tuesday’s (November 8) trip to Emmerdale featured Amy arriving during Cain’s visitation hours at the prison, where she revealed she knew Kyle was the shooter.

Cain was panicked knowing that Kyle had already given the game away, so he encouraged her to take their son on the run for his own protection.

“You need to take him away,” Cain demanded. “Go, move where nobody else knows you. If he confesses to anyone again, that’ll be his life screwed.”

Later, Amy confided in Moira that she was considering leaving the village with Kyle as Cain had demanded during their prison visitation.

“You can’t run with him Amy,” Moira insisted, adding that if they worked together they could get Kyle through this traumatic period to give him “a normal life”.

“We just need to stick together,” she told Amy.

Amy finally agreed to stay in the village, vowing: “We bury the truth and make sure this never, ever gets out.”

Can Moira and Amy actually keep Kyle’s secret?
