Pretty in pink indeed.
Kim Kardashian proved fashion is art by matching her pink Balenciaga dress to her James Turrell artwork for a photo op before hitting the star-studded Baby2Baby Gala 2022 red carpet Saturday.
The Skims founder, 42, wore a long-sleeved, bubblegum-colored gown adorned with bows and cutouts galore.
She paired the Barbiecore design with pointy-toed hot pink heels and a matching Balenciaga Hourglass bag ($2,700), adding a classic French manicure and a dazzling selection of Tiffany & Co. jewels to complete the look.
The “Kardashians” star was shining bright in classic diamond stud earrings and a trio of rings: one featuring an over-8-carat pink morganite, another with a pear-cut pink spinel weighing in at over 4 carats, and a third bauble with an over-10-carat morganite.
The Skims founder and her family are known for their love of Turrell’s work. Kendall Jenner owns one of his pieces, and Kim’s controversial rapper ex, Kanye West, even gave fans a sneak peek at a Turrell installation in Arizona’s Painted Desert in 2019.
Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian showed their love for Kim’s Barbiecore look on Instagram, commenting with on-theme pink hearts, while pal Steph Shepherd called her “Pretty in pink.”
Kim K. rocked the hot pink gown alongside her younger sister Kylie Jenner at the Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood, where the Kylie Cosmetics mogul stunned in a sexy black backless gown by Loewe.
Kim received the Giving Tree Award during the event. In September, Forbes reported the reality star “quietly” donated half a million dollars and an estimated $5 million in supplies to Baby2Baby over the years to help children living in poverty.
Olivia Wilde, Jessica Alba, Zach Braff and Kerry Washington all attended the gala as well.
This isn’t the first time Kim’s showed off one of the 79-year-old artist’s famed installations in her home. In October, she gave fans a tour of her Halloween decorations on Instagram, including a look at her “super scary and creepy hallway with [her] Turrell at the end that looks like the moon.”
